Ultimately, will Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton win the US Presidential Election?

Regardless of where you live in the world, who would you rather see as the next US president?

The US presidential election is right around the corner. Tuesday, November 8th to be exact. It has been the most exhausting nasty and embarrassing US presidential election that I have ever been witness to. I often have US citizens on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram telling me that because I am an Australian citizen, I have no right to have an opinion on their government nor do I have any understanding of the US political climate. By that kind of logic, I can only assume that these people have no understanding or knowledge of international relations. Regardless, I am going to offer my perspective on the two candidates battling it out in the US presidential election.

Donald Trump

I still have some trouble believing that Donald Trump has gotten as far as he has. He has obvious talents in the world of business, but the political sphere is an entirely different beast.  This whole process has been nothing more than an ego trip for him. I don’t think he has genuine interest in being a politician, let alone leading the nation.

Trump has 0% political experience, which is one of his biggest disadvantages. If he were to get in he would be regulated by the Republican party 24/7. We know that US Presidents are the most regulated leaders on the planet, but they generally get some autonomy. He would get no autonomy at all.

His slogan “Make American great again” sounds good but how is he going to achieve that? He has no real solid policies. His idea on taxes isn’t bad in theory: reducing corporate tax in order to encourage businesses to return to local manufacturing. It won’t work in practice. His ideas on immigration and building walls to protect the US from Mexico are unconstitutional and absurd. He carries a significant amount of prejudice and misogyny which also doesn’t do him any favours.

He is very good at piercing the heart truth of what a large collective of Americans think and feel. Despite his billionaire status, he is capable of making himself personable. He echoes their frustrations and their rage. But I don’t think he can solve their concerns and issues.

The tape scandal was a distraction from what really matters and did not prove sexual assualt or intent to sexually assault. Interesting how after that tape comes out, a plethora of women come out with sexual assault allegations against him. He is used to asking the questions, not being questioned. Hence, he dodges questions with no skill or finesse. The three most accurate/observant things he has said are:

– Clinton has no proof that Russia are behind the Cyber Attacks.

– Hilary should be in jail.

– The US seems to warn ISIS ahead of time before bombing them. They announce that they will hit a certain village with a time estimate. Why can’t they just take ISIS out in secret?

HILLARY CLINTON:

The major advantage that Clinton has over Trump is her vast political experience.  First Lady to Senator to Secretary of State. She’s certainly a better candidate in theory. In many ways her policies sound superior to Trump’s ideas ie abortion, taxes, and immigration. However, I believe that Hillary is a true snake in the grass. I like her idea of making life for the middle class, but is she genuine? I think not! She’s a mass pseudo socialist and feminist and a first class phoney. Her interests don’t truly stretch beyond her quest for further power for the Clinton dynasty.

She has no corner on morality when it comes to criticising Trump on alleged sexual assault. Look at the sexual assault rap sheet of Bill Clinton! Hilary has done her best to silence and intimidate his victims because they are obstacles in the path to pursuit for Clinton power. Her idea on raising tax and correctly taxing corporations is great but I don’t see that happening since she is so far into these corporations’ pockets.

Hillary is particularly lethal when it comes to international relations. She has displayed unnecessary levels of aggression towards Russia and tries to blame Russia and Vladimir Putin for anything she can. Obama and Clinton are angry at Russia and Putin because he has made them look weak in Syria. Putin has crushed their mission of  Syrian regime and region control. He has made inroads into destroying ISIS because he is actually interested in eliminating them. Clinton and her administration aren’t truly interesting in ISIS’s destruction because they are a US creation and agenda pawn.

Other major strikes against her name include the historically corrupt Clinton Foundation, the email scandal, the Benghazi incident and her war crimes in Libya and Iraq.  Granted, most US presidents are guilty of war crimes and should be jailed. Clinton should already be in a jail cell for her actions whilst Secretary of State. Seeing her in a jail cell with her bosom buddy, the epic war criminal Henry Kissinger, would be delicious.

They say Trump will be unpredictable and Clinton is safe. I think neither are safe choices and both are predictable. Trump will be a bigger puppet than Clinton but he will be safer if the Republican party control his every move. Hilary will have more autonomy. That makes Clinton more dangerous. Ultimately it’s a horrible choice to make and I pity the citizens that will make this decision. No matter who wins, we are screwed to various degrees.
